Dwayne Johnson the wrestling star-turned-actor is undoubtedly one of the most renowned faces in Hollywood. The actor who is happy with the response of his recent release Hobbs & Shaw has also been roped in to play Black Adam in the DCEU. Recently ‘Avengers: Endgame’ director Anthony Russo was asked if Dwayne were to join the MCU, which character would fit the actor’s personality the best? The Russo brother stunned everyone with his answer.

Anthony Russo said, “The superhero that I would most like the Rock to play is The Rock. He is the best version of him.”
Now at ComicBook.com, Dwayne aka Rock was asked to comment on Russo’s statement. He said, “I think I would have to, that’s the thing. And I appreciate the Russo Brothers. I’ve known those guys for a long time and I appreciate the compliment and we would have to see.”
He further laughed and added, “So, basically what they’re saying is, is I don’t need a cape. Basically, what they said, I could be the leader of the Marvel universe. That’s my interpretation.”
Johnson took to Twitter and shared his reaction. “I was born to play this role. Literally. I’ll call you tonight Russo Bros!!! Time to rule the MCU.. forever,” he tweeted.
