John Abraham is all set to play DCP Sanjeev Kumar in the upcoming movie, Batla House. The new song, ‘Rula Diya’ has an emotional touch, meant to make the audience feel the emotions. Ankit Tiwari is the composer as well as the singer of the song. Rula Diya is written by Prince Dubey.

The video focuses on the part of the story where the DCP is struggling between work and marriage. Mrunal Thakur will be playing the role of John Abraham’s onscreen wife, Nandita Kumar.
‘Batla House’ attempts to unravel the truth behind the 2008 encounter with alleged terrorists that took place at Batla House in Jamia Nagar in Delhi. On September 13, 2008, a series of bomb blasts in Delhi claimed over 26 lives and injured over 133 people. An operation was conducted on September 19 by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police, who raided a flat in Batla House. Two alleged terrorists, Atif Amin, and Mohammad Sajid were shot dead by the police. John will be seen essaying the character of DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, who spearheaded the operation.
The movie was criticised by certain political leaders as they termed the encounter as fake.

The movie will release on August 15th, this year.
