‘Angrezi Medium’ wrap-up: Homi Adajania thanks Irrfan Khan&team

Powerhouse actor Irrfan Khan will soon be seen on the big screen in Homi Adajania’s ‘Angrezi Medium’. The actor after being treated for neuroendocrine tumour had started shooting for the sequel of his hit flick Hindi Medium. Post Angrezi Medium” wrap up the director Homi Adajania has penned an emotional note thanking his team and Irrfan Khan.

Homi took to his social media handle and not only shared a picture with Irrfan but also penned an emotional thank you.

I wanted to do this film knowing it would be against the odds. I wanted to do it for all the wrong reasons to make a film but they just seemed so right and still do. He has not only thanked Irrfan Khan but also thanked the whole team for their efforts in the making of the film. Homi’s feelings got thumbs up from Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Patralekha, and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar.

The film’s hairstylist Ritika Vats also shared a picture with a whole team of women crew members, posing with Irrfan and Radhika on the sets.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Angrezi Medium” is a sequel to the 2017 entertainer Hindi Medium, which starred Irrfan and Saba Qamar in the lead roles. Deepak Dobriyal and Manu Rishi play Irrfan’s brother and cousin, respectively, in the film. The trio run sweet shops and are rivals to each other. The film will mark Irrfan’s comeback on the big screen, post the brief break that he took in London, seeking treatment for neuroendocrine tumour.

The film also stars Radhika Madan playing Irrfan’s daughter. Kareena Kapoor will be seen in a special appearance. She will play a cop in the film.

”Angrezi Medium’ will release on April 24, 2020.
