Kartik Aaryan Buys Same Flat Where He Had Once Stayed As A Paying Guest
Kartik Aaryan buys a flat worth Rs 1.60 crore in Versova where he lived earlier as a paying guest.
Many Bollywood celebrities are buying flats or properties in Mumbai. Lately, Alia Bhatt, Tammannah Bhatia and now Kartik Aaryan have bought a flat in Versova, Mumbai. The astonishing part is that he bought the same flat where he lived as a paying guest in his days of struggle.
According to a report in DNA, Kartik Aaryan paid a sum of Rs 1.60 crore for the flat in Versova and a stamp duty of Rs 9.60 lakh. The property is located at the Rajkiran Co-op Housing Society on Yari Road. The report adds that the flat has a carpet area of 459 sq ft (with the total being 551 sq ft) and is located on the fifth floor of the building.
Earlier, on a chat show, Kartik talked about his struggle to make ends meet during his struggling days. “I didn’t have a place to stay when I came to Mumbai. I stayed in a hostel. I have stayed with 12 guys in a flat. That was something I never thought I would do because I hail from Gwalior, which is not an expensive city to live in, but Mumbai is really expensive,” he said.
As per the documents sourced by the newspaper, Kartik bought this luxurious flat in May this year and the papers also mention his mother Mala Tiwari’s name. The address is shown in Gwalior.
Recently, there were reports that the south Indian fame, Tammanaah Bhatia bought an extremely lavish, sea-facing apartment in Versova, paying twice the price. Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, she refused to agree to the news and jokingly said, “I’m Sindhi, how can I pay double the price for an apartment? After a while, it became embarrassing as people kept asking about it. I have bought a house, but I did not pay double for it. My parents and I will move into it once the house is ready. I just want it to be a simple, artistic house with an earthy look.”
