Meet 87-year old Charulata Patel, Who Won Hearts At IND vs BAN Match

Team India won the match against Bangladesh making Rohit Sharma the man of the match with his outstanding 4th century. The cricketer went on to be an internet sensation with captain Virat Kohli. But an 87 year old fan stole the limelight from the team. Yes, Ardent fan Charulata Patel was caught on camera cheering for Team India when they were batting against Bangladesh during their World Cup on Tuesday.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli could not resist himself from meeting 87 year old fan Charulata Patel. He called her one of the most passionate and dedicated fans he has ever seen.

Mahindra Group’s chairman, Anand Mahindra too is bowled over by the enthusiasm of Charulata. He too tweeted,

India has sealed their semi-final spot and will now compete against Sri Lanka on July 6.
