Jabariya Jodi Trailer: Sidharth-Parineeti set the silver screen ablaze

Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra are back together once again. The duo were last seen in 2014 hit flick ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’. They will be seen in upcoming rom-com ‘Jabariya Jodi’. Yesterday the Brother’s star had shared a new quirky motion poster of the movie. Today the makers have unveiled the fun-filled trailer of the film.

Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra play Abhay and Babli in the movie and their mazedaar chemistry will steal your heart. ‘Jabariya Jodi’ that was earlier titled as ‘ShotGun Shaadi’ marks the directorial debut of Prashant Singh. The plot of the film is set in Bihar, Patna where the grooms are captured to avoid paying them dowry(pakadwa vivah). Sidharth plays the role of a man who kidnaps grooms.

The romantic comedy also stars Aparshakti Khurrana, Sanjay Mishra, Neeraj Sood, Gopal Dutt, Javed Jaffrey and Chandan Roy Sanyal in pivotal roles.

It is produced by Ekta Kapoor, under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and Shailesh Singh’s Karma Media Net. The movie will be releasing on August 2, 2019.

On the work front, Parineeti Chopra will be next seen in ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ opposite Arjun Kapoor, ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’, the Saina Nehwal biopic and the Hindi remake of ‘The Girl on the Train’.

On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra will next appear in ‘Marjaavan’ opposite ‘Ek Villain’ co-star Riteish Deshmukh and debutante Tara Sutaria.
