“All is Well” with Mani Ratnam’s health and is back to work

Recently veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam was admitted to the Apollo hospital, Chennai due to cardiac problems. He was kept under observation at the same hospital. Lokesh Jey, a prominent media professional in Chennai took to his Twitter handle to share the news. He wrote, “Director #ManiRatnam admitted to Greams Road Apollo hospital due to cardiac problems.”

But you need not worry as the filmmaker is back to work after the check-up. Nikkil Murugan, his rep confirmed the news through his tweet. He wrote, “After a routine check-up, Mani Ratnam sir is back to office today with his routine work. All is Well.”

Last year in July, Mani Ratnam was admitted to Apollo Hospital as he had chest pain. But one of the officials of the hospital told IANS, “He had come to the hospital for a check-up. His condition is fine. He has not been admitted.”

On the professional front, Mani Ratnam is ready for Ponniyin Selvan that is an adaptation of the Tamil novel by Amarar Kalki. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Amitabh Bachchan, Amala Paul, Jayaram Ravi, Karthi, and Anushka Shetty are to star in the movie.
