#MeToo movement: Nana Patekar gets clean chit in Tanushree Dutta sexual harassment case
Nana Patekar was the first to be accused in #MeToo in India.
It is official now hat Nana Patekar is given a clean chit by the Mumbai police. Yes, you heard it right. As reported by ANI, “the police couldn’t find evidence in support of the complaint and are unable to continue the investigation.”

Tanushree Dutta was the flag-bearer of #MeToo movement in India and Nana was the first to be accused by the actress. In 2018, after coming back from the US, Tanushree accused the veteran actor of sexually harassing her on the sets of her film Horn Ok Pleassss. Post this, she lodged an FIR against him and the investigation was on process. Nana denied all the allegations.
Last month there was news of Nana getting a clean chit but the actress issued a statement where she had said that the news is ‘false rumour floating in the Media’. She said that Nana’s public relations team is responsible for spreading the false rumour because he is not getting any work in the industry.
Well, as Nana has got an official clean chit from the police, let’s see how Tanushree reacts to it. Well, we tried to contact both Nana and Tanushree, but both didn’t respond.
