Salman Khan starrer Bharat mints 150 crores on its first week-end and is galloping ahead full steam
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s period drama ‘Bharat‘ is on a minting spree ever since its release. The movie that released on Eid this year had collected around Rs 42.30 crore on the first day. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial crossed the 100 crore club within four days of its release. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial has become the highest opening film of Salman’s career. It is also the 14th film of the Dabangg Khan to enter the coveted 100 crore club.
Bharat, which was released in 4700 screens across the country, is going strong at single screens as well as multiplexes. It managed to rake in around Rs 122.2 crore on Saturday, continued its winning streak on Sunday too. The movie that is based on a Korean film ‘Ode To My Father’ made Rs 27.9 crore on Sunday, thus taking the total collection to Rs 150.1 crore.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted,

Bharat also features Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Nora Fatehi and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles.
