Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’ is all set for a grand release in theatres tomorrow. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial is one the most awaited film of the year and has been in news since its conception. The movie that brings back the hit Jodi of Salman and Katrina together once again is a period drama. It is based on a hit Korean film ‘Ode To My Father’. 1. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif Age Transformation:

‘Bharat’ is the first film to showcase Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif going through age transformation. They will be seen growing from 18 to 72 on the big screen for the first time in their career in Bollywood.

2. Shot In Four Countries:

The film is shot in India, Malta, Abu Dhabi and Spain. While in India, it is filmed in New Delhi, Mumbai and Punjab. The Partition sequences were shot in Punjab and original steam engines were used for shooting.

3. Salman and Katrina’s hattrick with Ali Abbas Zafar:

The movie is the third collaboration between Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Ali Abbas Zafar. Salman had earlier worked with him in ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. Katrina collaborated with has ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai.’

4. Salman and Jackie Shroff:

The movie brings back Salman Khan and Jackie Shroff sharing screen space for the fifth time. They earlier worked in ‘Bandhan’, ‘Kyon Ki’, ‘Veer’ and ‘Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaye’.

5. Salman Used prosthetics:

This is the first time the Dabangg Khan is using prosthetics. The reason being his character has to undergo changes from 18-19 years old to an old man. Each era will require a different look.

6. The Brad Pitt connection:

The makers of Bharat have used the same innovative computer graphics technology used in Brad Pitt starrer ‘The Curious Cage of Benjamin Button’. The technology used in the Brad Pitt film will be used to transform Salman in different looks.

7. Salman and Katrina:

Salman and Katrina have worked together in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya(2005), Partner(2007), Yuvvraaj(2008), Ek Tha Tiger(2012), Tiger Zinda Hai(2017). Katrina had also made a guest appearance in Bodyguard(2011) as Salman also appeared in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani(2009). They will be seen together once again in the Tiger franchise.

‘Bharat’ also features Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Nora Fatehi, and Sunil Grover. It is Salman Khan’s Eid gift to his fans.
