Huma Qureshi joins Zack Snyder’s zombie thriller ‘Army of the Dead’
Huma Qureshi is going places in the world of entertainment. The 32-year-old actress is all set to star in Zack Snyder’s upcoming zombie drama, titled ‘Army Of The Dead’. She is joining Dave Bautista in the Netflix project. On Wednesday trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news of Huma’s association with the international project on his Twitter handle.

He tweeted: “Confirmed – Huma Qureshi named the Asian lead in Zack Snyder’s upcoming zombie drama Army Of The Dead. The cast is headed by Dave Bautista along with several international names.”
Zack is known for his work on DC films ‘Man of Steel’, ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and ‘Justice League’. He had made his directorial debut 15 years ago with zombie horror, ‘Dawn of the Dead’.
His latest venture also stars Ella Purnell, Ana De La Reguera and Theo Rossi. It will showcase the story of a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas. Snyder is producing the project along with his wife Deborah Snyder and Wesley Coller through their Stone Quarry production company.
On the work front, Huma was recently seen representing the liquor brand Grey Goose at the 72nd edition of the Cannes Film Festival. She is at present awaiting the release of the web-series ‘Leila’ which will premiere on Netflix on June 1.
