Sonam Kapoor’s ‘The Zoya Factor’ gets a new release date

Sonam Kapoor and Malayalam star Dulquer Salman starrer ‘The Zoya Factor’ has a new release date. The film that was initially scheduled to release in April 2019, later on, June 2019 will now release on September 20, 2019. This news was shared by Sonam Kapoor on her Twitter handle. The actress shared a new poster of her upcoming film and also announced the new release date for the movie.

‘The Zoya Factor‘ is based on a novel by author Anuja Chauhan and is all about a Rajput girl named Zoya Singh Solanki who meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job as an executive in an advertising agency. She ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team in the 2010 Cricket World Cup. Eventually, Zoya falls for skipper Nikhil Khoda who doesn’t believe in luck or superstitions.

An Abhishek Sharma directorial it marks Dulquer Salmaan’s second project in Bollywood. He made his debut in the Hindi film industry with Irrfan Khan starrer ‘Karwaan’ in 2018. Sonam Kapoor was last seen in 2019’s ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’. Angad Bedi will also be seen in an important role in the film. Sanjay Kapoor will be playing the role of Sonam’s father in the movie.

A Fox Star Studios and Adlabs Films The Zoya Factor is all set to release on 20th September 2019.
