John Wick 3 star Keanu Reeves to play the X-Men character Wolverine?

Hollywood superstar Keanu Reeves is ruling the box-office with his recent release John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. Fans are lining up for hours at theatres to catch the actor in action once again in the popular franchise. Now Keanu has expressed his desire to play the iconic character Wolverine from X-Men series.

Hugh Jackman who has been seen in the garb of Wolverine in X-Men series has finally decided that he is not returning back as the popular character. The actor hung his claws after the release of Logan. And ever since, X-Men fans are eager to know who will play the next Wolverine. Now Keanu Reeves has confessed that he would love to play the popular character. The John Wick 3 star during an interaction with BuzzFeed Q&A session to promote his recent film had revealed that as a child, he always dreamt of playing Wolverine.

On being asked which DC or Marvel character he would like to play, Reeves said, “I don’t know, when I was a kid, I always wanted to play Wolverine, so, Wolverine.”

Hope Marvel is paying attention for we would love to see Keanu as Wolverine in the X-Men series.

Speaking of John Wick 3’s foray at the box-office, it has already dethroned Avengers: Endgame in its first week. It has collected $57 million in its opening weekend. Internationally “John Wick 3” earned $35.2 million from 66 territories.
