Its Official! Bhool Bhulaiyaa Is All Set for Its continuation Through A Sequel

The film Bhool Bhulaiyaa was a Horror-comedy film and was a hit. It had a multi-star cast that consisted of Vidya Balan, Akshay  Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Shiney Ahuja and Amisha Patel in the lead.

But now, the news is that there is going to be a sequel to the film, but with a fresh cast. The sources say “Bhushan wanted to make a part 2 of Bhool Bhulaiyaa for a while now and has cracked an idea with Farhad Samji, who will be writing and directing the film. It is in the development stage and will feature a fresh cast. Once the final script is locked, the team will kick off casting and other pre-production formalities.”

The original film was the official remake of the Tamil film Chandramukhi which was an official remake of the Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu.

The original story revolved around Shiney Ahuja and Vidya Balan’s character who insist on living in their ancestral house inspite of all the rumours of ghosts living in. Inspite of warning Vidya’s character about not opening a specific room, she insists. Later on, Shiney Ahuja’s character has to take help of Akshay Kumar who plays a psychiatrist to bail out of this situation.
