Xiaomi To Launch First 10,000mAh Wireless Power Bank, Mi 9 On February 20
Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi seems to be on a promotional spree as they are all set to launch Mi 9 on February 20 in China. The CEO of the company has shared several phone’s renders but they did not yet share the front look of Mi 9. According to the official announcement, Xiaomi Mi 9 will have Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 855 SoC and likely to be coupled with 8 or 6 GB of RAM. Mi 9 launch event will be held in Beijing on February 20.
According to MySmartPrice, besides Xiaomi Mi 9, the company is likely to launch first 10,000mAh wireless charger power bank on February 20.
Taking to the Chinese microblogging site, Weibo, Lei Jun wrote that February 20 will mark the world premiere of the Snapdragon 855. But, they might not know that Lenovo has already launched the Z5 Pro GT with Snapdragon 855 last year. The smartphone Xioami Mi 9 will sport 6.4-inch AMOLED display and a 24MP AI selfie snapper.
According to phones renders that were published on Xiaomi’s Weibo account, Xiaomi Mi 9 with pink-blue gradient finish. Earlier, the company had said that it is using a “nano-scale laser holography process, plus double layer coating” to create the “holographic illusion” colors. The company had already shared the photos of the Xiaomi Mi 9 in blue-green gradient finish.
Xiaomi’s global spokesperson, Donovan Sung, teaser the presence of an in-display fingerprint sensor on the Mi 9 phone on Twitter. But, he did not disclose any details about the smartphone. According to Geekbench listing and previous rumors, Xiaomi Mi 9 runs on Android 9 Pie and packs a 3,500mAh battery and a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with the waterdrop-style notch.
According to a leaked photo, Xiaomi Mi 9 will have a triple rear camera at the back and 24 MP front camera for a selfie.
