Isha Ambani-Anand Piramal’s first reception hosted at Rs 450-crore new home

The newlyweds Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal are all set to host their second reception at Jio garden in Mumbai today. The couple hosted their first wedding reception at the five-story Worli sea-facing bungalow in Mumbai on December 13.

Notably, the Bungalow was bought by the Piramals in 2012 for Rs. 452 crore that is spread over 50,000 square feet, has a three-level basement and five upper floors.

The first reception of Isha-Anand was attended by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Senior BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Cricket legends Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev, Ratan Tata, Cyrus Poonawalla and family among many others.

The grand reception was a private affair held after exchanging wedding vows at Antilla on December 12. The Ambani Family will be hosting the couple’s second reception at Jio Gardens in Mumbai today which is likely to be attended by all B-town celebrities.

According to reports, a musical concert has been planned for the royal reception. However, the Ambanis had earlier hosted a grand pre-wedding bash in Udaipur with performances from Bollywood superstars and American pop singer Beyonce.

Isha Ambani is the daughter of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, who tied the knot with Anand Piramal, a son of businessman Ajay Piramal on December 12.  The Ambani and Piramal families have been friends for four decades and the wedding has brought India’s two most influential families closer.
