‘Shamshera’: Ranbir Kapoor gets massive fort built for his period drama
Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor has won over his fans with his versatile acts, be it ‘Rockstar’, ‘Barfi’, ‘Tamasha’ or ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ we have seen him deliver a stellar performance. After an award-winning performance in ‘Sanju’ the Kapoor scion will next be seen in Yash Raj Films upcoming period drama ‘Shamshera’.
The makers had recently shared that the shoot for the film that is being helmed by Karan Malhotra is already on the floor. The movie has Ranbir playing the role of a dacoit for the first time and will be having a face-off with Sanjay Dutt in the high-octane adventure drama set in the heartland of India.
‘Shamshera’ is expected to be larger than life and therefore the makers are building a huge massive fort at the Film City, Goregaon in Mumbai.
As per Pinkvilla reports, To build the massive fort 200-300 people have lent their hand and the work was going for at least 2 months to get the desired result.

‘Shamshera’ also stars Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. This year in May, the makers had dropped the teaser of ‘Shamshera with a tagline that read, “Karam Se Dacait… Dharam Se Azaad.”

The shoot of ‘Shamshera’ will wrap by mid-2019 and it is set to release on July 30, 2020.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ in which he stars alongside Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan.
