Digvijay Singh: Congress to win 132 seats in Madhya Pradesh and form government
Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Sunday predicted that his party will win 126-132 seats in Madhya Pradesh and form the government.
Speaking to the news agency ANI, Digvijay Singh said, “Every political party says that they are forming the government but I went around the state in last 1 year. From what I saw till the polling on 28th November, Congress is winning 126-132 seats in Madhya Pradesh. Congress party will form the government.”

Earlier also, he had claimed that his party is winning 132 seats out of the total 230 in the state Assembly. In the run up to the elections, Digvijay Singh had toured almost the entire state in a bid to thaw differences within the Congress.
It is to be noted that the 75 percent voters exercised their democratic right in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections held on 28th November. However, the counting of votes will be held on December 11.
In the last Assembly polls, of the 230 seats, the BJP won 165, Congress 58, BSP four and independents three.
