India name 12-member squad for the first T20I against Australia
India’s 12-member squad for the first T20I against Australia, which is scheduled to be played at the Gabba, Brisbane on November 21, Wednesday have been announced.

The team would once again have the services of Virat Kohli as their captain after he was rested for the T20Is against the West Indies at home. Rohit Sharma, who led the side in his absence will be joined by Shikhar Dhawan in opening the innings.
Krunal Pandya, who recently made his debut in the T20Is against the West Indies also has been included in the side. Just like the T20Is against the Windies, both Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant have been named in the side. It is still uncertain as to who among the two would don the wicket-keeping duties.
KL Rahul also has been included in the side. Newcomer Khaleel Ahmed finds a place in the side in place of the experienced Umesh Yadav. Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal remains the 12th man.
