IPL 2019: Complete list of players retained, released and traded by all franchises
Indian Premier League franchises have announced the total list of players retained, released and traded by them ahead of the player’s auctions for the upcoming 12th season of the cash-rich league.
This time almost every franchise has been brave in their decisions and most of them have taken a step into trusting the fearless young generation, which has seen experienced veterans like Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Aaron Finch, Brendon McCullum and JP Duminy been released by their respective teams.
We take a look at the complete list of players retained and released by each franchise:
Mumbai Indians
Retained Players: Rohit Sharma (C), Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Krunal Pandya, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Mayank Markande, Rahul Chahar, Anukul Roy, Siddhesh Lad, Aditya Tare, Quinton de Kock, Evin Lewis, Kieron Pollard, Ben Cutting, Mitchell McClenaghan, Adam Milne and Jason Behrendorff.

Released Players: Saurabh Tiwary, Pradeep Sangwan, Mohsin Khan, MD Nidheesh, Sharad Lumba, Tajinder Singh Dhillon, JP Duminy, Pat Cummins, Mustafizur Rahman and Akila Dananjaya.
Mumbai Indians traded one player, which is South African wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock, from Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Chennai Super Kings

Kolkata Knight Riders
Retained Players: Dinesh Karthik, Robin Uthappa, Chris Lynn, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Shubman Gill, Piyush Chawla, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Shivam Mavi, Nitish Rana, Rinku Singh, and Kamlesh Nagarkoti.
