Amit Shah tells party workers: Ensure BJP’s win in 65 seats of Chhattisgarh

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Amit Shah on Saturday asked the party workers to ensure that the saffron party retains power in Chhattisgarh in the upcoming Assembly election by winning over 65 of the 90 seats.

While addressing the gathering, Amit Shah said, “Credit of victory always goes to each booth level worker and I am a lucky Party President who could reach out to booth level workers of the country.” “The BJP will form Government for the fourth consecutive time in Chhattisgarh and with it the next mission of 2019 awaits were all 11 Lok Sabha seats has to be won in the State,” he added.

He, on the occasion, also listed out the political achievements from Jan Sangh to BJP. “At least 70 percent of the land mass of country is under BJP rule and it has 11 crore members- the biggest party in the world,” Amit Shah added.

The BJP president further asserted that each party worker is ready to lay down his life for the motherland. “Now, the target of party is to win in West Bengal, Telangana and Kerala, and then only the target can be achieved. Everyone is keenly watching Chhattisgarh”, Amit Shah added.

Amit Shah also recalled the formation of Chhattisgarh in 2000 and asked party workers to compare the history of development. “It has been made possible under the leadership of Chief Minister Raman Singh and his policies,” he said.

“The election is now to make ‘Nava Chhattisgarh’ and each worker has to spread the message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Dr Raman Singh by going door to door with a pledge to win the polls,” he added.

Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh asserted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi all are moving ahead. “People elect person who work for them not those who make CDs,” he added.

Notably, the Chhattisgarh Assembly polls will be held in two phases. While the phase of polling will be held on November 12, the second will be held on November 20. The counting of votes will be taken up on December 11.
