It so happened that Sonam tweeted about the bad traffic of Mumbai and how it took her more than two hours to reach town. Her tweet read: “Traffic in Bombay sucks. It’s taken me 2 hours to reach town. And I’m still not at the destination. The roads are bad and the pollution is ridiculous it’s a nightmare to get out of the house.”
A user of the micro-blogging site replied saying, “its because of people like you,who don’t use public transport or less fuel consumption vehicles.

Sonam replied on the person’s tweet and said, “And it’s because of men like you that women find it difficult to use public transport for fear of being harassed.”

Twitterati could not take such an illogical and highly insensible reply from a celebrity and trolled her like never before because she gave a character certificate to a guy who she has no idea about.
The guy later tweeted to Sonam saying, “Playing victim. Hahahahah. Typical Bollywood style.” He furthur said, “I can take you to the court for this coz I still believe in constitution. N i am not a judge without a degree like you. Shame shame shame shame.”
