Now, Deepika Padukone who was supposed to star in Vishal Bhardwaj’s next has quit the film. Not just that, she has also returned the signing amount.

The film starred Irrfan Khan opposite his Piku co-star and they were to begin the shooting right after Padmaavat’s release but owing to Irrfan Khan’s illness, the film had to be postponed. Hence, Deepika had to quit the film. Reports suggest that she has said that she will definitely get in touch with Irrfan Khan once he is back in India.
The film was based on the story of gangster Sapna Didi.
As Priyanka had resigned from the film because she was getting engaged, speculations suggest that Deepika also might have quit because her wedding with Ranveer Singh is just round the corner and the preparations are in full swing.
As per reports, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will tie the knot on November 20 in Italy amidst the presence of her close family members and friends.
