Veteran actor Dilip Kumar hospitalised for chest infection
Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has been admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital because of a chest infection and he’s currently under care and supervision at the hospital.
His family friend Faisal Farooqui addressed him as ‘Saab’ and tweeted from his verified Twitter account and said, “Saab has been admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital as he was bit uneasy due to a chest infection. He’s recuperating. Requesting your duas and prayers. -FF.”

Dilip Kumar, who will celebrate his 96th birthday in December this year, has not been well for some years and has been in and out of the hospital.
He has starred in films such as Madhumati, Devdas, Andaz, Mughal-e-Azam, Ganga Jamuna, Ram Aur Shyam and Naya Daur and more. He married Saira Banu in 1966 and the couple has co-starred in films like Sagina Mahato, Chhoti Bahu and Duniya among a few.
Dilip Kumar was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in 2015, the Padma Bhushan in 1991 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994.
