FIR registered against Robert Vadra, former Haryana CM on Gurgaon land dispute.
An FIR was filed against businessman Robert Vadra, the brother-in-law of Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Hooda, a DLF Company from Guruguram and Onkareshwar Properties over alleged irregularities in a string of land deals in Gurugram, said the Haryana police on Saturday.
The FIR against the above-mentioned people has been registered at the Kherki Daula police station in Gurugram, Manesar Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Kumar told news agency PT.
“We received a complaint today from one Surinder Sharma, a resident of Nuh, in which he alleged irregularities in the land deals,” he added.

In the FIR lodged it states that the Vadra’s company Sky Light Hospitality Pvt Ltd purchased 3.5 acres of land in Gurgaon’s Sector 83, Sikandarpur, Khedki Daula, Shikohpur, and Sihi reportedly from Onkareshwar Properties for Rs. 7.5 crore in 2008 and then sold it for Rs. 58 crore to the DLF Company.
Moreover, it has also been alleged that Vadra allocated almost 350 crores of land to DLF at Wazirabad in Gurgaon.
Mr. Vadra, however, denied all such allegations and said that the government was targeting him to divert the attention of the people. “its election season… there is an increase in oil prices… so let’s divert the real issues of people… what’s new?” he was quoted as saying the news agency.
