Delhi: 11 of a family found dead together in Burari, police suspect mass suicide
In an shocking incident 11 members of the family were found dead under mysterious conditions in Burari area of North Delhi on Sunday morning. All the members of the family were found to be blind folded, with 10 handing dead and an old woman lying dead on floor.
According to the police, the out of the 11 bodies, seven were of women and four men. Though, it is not confirmed if all the bodies belong to the same family, police in the initial stage of investigation is suspecting a mass suicide, but the angle of other crimes are not being neglected, said a police official on anonymity.

Adding more information, the official said that someone from near Guru Govind Singh Hospital in Sant Nagar of Burari area called them at 8 am in the morning and informed them about the tragedy. After reaching the spot they saw that 10 people were hanging dead, while an elderly woman was found lying on the floor at their residence in Sant Nagar.
Police have started their investigation and are asking the neighbours for clues. The family, said neighbours, ran a grocery at their residence in Sant Nagar. When their shop was not opened till 7:30 am, he went to check and found the bodies hanging blind-folded. Then the neighbour called the police.

Police have sealed the house and are investigating the matter. After listening about the incident, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari visited the place of incident.
