#9pm9minute: Sonam Kapoor Slams People For Bursting Crackers; Shows Concern For The Animals
Sonam is showing her concern for the stray animals.
On Friday (April 3), PM Narendra Modi addressed the nation and asked the citizens to light candles, diyas or flash torches, mobile phones from their doors or balconies for 9 minutes at 9 pm on Sunday (April 5) to end the ‘darkness’ of COVID-19.
In a video message, he said, “The way you paid gratitude to people fighting against COVID-19 on March 22 has become a model that is being emulated by other countries. Janata curfew and ringing of bells/clanging utensils made the country aware of its unity amid this challenging time.” Also, he urged the people of India not to go outside their house.
Pictures and videos of people lighting diyas and candles are flooded on social media. But there are some who are bursting crackers and this kind of action seems to be a mockery at PM’s appeal.
Sonam Kapoor took to her Twitter handle to slam those people who are bursting crackers and causing problems for the stray animals. She tweeted, “People are bursting crackers. Just FYI . They dogs are freaking out. Do people think it’s Diwali? I’m so confused.”(sic)

This is really shameful that people are not understanding the gravity of the crisis and they are creating a ruckus and causing problems to the society and the animals. This kind of action also proves that these people are really ‘Covidiots’.
