5 Best Homemade Ayurvedic Immunity Booster Drinks

Ayurvedic recipes for boosting immunity:

Ginger-Turmeric Tea:

Ingredients:

Turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, water, honey and lemon

Recipe:

Boil a cup of water in a small saucepan. Add half a spoon of turmeric powder, smashed ginger and cinnamon to the boiling water. Keep the heat to a medium-low flame and let the water boil at a slow pace for about 10 mins. Strain the tea into a large glass. Let it settle for 3-5 mins. Add honey and lemon wedge before consuming. 

Green apple, carrot, orange juice:

Ingredients:

Carrots, green apples, oranges

Recipe:

Grind the chopped carrots, green apple and oranges and blend well. Take the juice in a glass and consume it raw. The combination of these three ingredients is good for boosting the immune. Apples and oranges are filled with vitamin C and carrots contain vitamin B-6, they are great for immune boosting. You can consume this drink twice a week.

Beetroot shots:

Ingredients:

Beetroot, carrot, ginger and apple

Recipe:

Root vegetables especially beetroots are known for solving issues in the guts and immune system. It also decreases inflammatory symptoms. Combine all the ingredients and grind them well together. Add water if needed in the blender for drinkable consistency. Take the mixture in a glass and consume it immediately.

Ginger-Tulsi Tea:

Ingredients:

1 Pinch ginger, 3 peppercorns, 2-3 tulsi leaves and lemon

Recipe:

Take 2 cups of water and set it for boiling in a vessel. Combine all the ingredients together except for lemon in the vessel. Keep the tea to a boil for over 10 mins. The mixture will change its color after the boil. Take it off the flame and add lemon juice for taste. Consume it warm.

Turmeric shot

Ingredients:

Black pepper, lemon juice, lukewarm water, turmeric powder

Recipe: Mix black pepper in the lukewarm water, add 2 spoons of turmeric powder to it and mix well. Give it a stir. Lastly, add the lemon juice to it and drink quickly.
