Yet another incident of gang rape emerged from the country’s financial capital Mumbai, where a 25-year-old woman has been gang raped by two men over the last 45 days. The accused has been identified as Vibas Kar and Sajid who live adjacent to the victim’s home, which is located almost 41 kms from Thane.
According to police, the accused Vibas Kar who allegedly entered the house of the woman on June 17 and raped her when her husband and children were not at home. He even threatened to kill her husband and children if she resisted or inform anyone about the incident.
After that, Vibas Kar has sexually assaulted her multiple times and he also roped in his friend Sajid. According to the Police, the duo raped this housewife on several occasions between June 17 and August 30, the official said.
The women finally spoke about the incident to her husband and lodged an FIR with the Valiv Police station last evening. The accused Vibas Kar and Sajid have been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code including punishment for rape.
