Miley Ray Cyrus is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She is the daughter of the ’90s country star Billy Ray Cyrus. Miley began acting at a young age, as she bagged a starring role on Disney’s hit show Hannah Montana in 2004. Her father too was a part of the series, which aired for four seasons until 2011. Before she became a teen idol she played minor roles in the television series ‘Doc‘ and the film ‘Big Fish‘ as a child artist.
Miley has acted in films like ‘Bolt’ and ‘The Last Song’ as well as have the best selling albums ‘Breakout’ and ‘Can’t Be Tamed.’ Cyrus has released six albums: ‘Meet Miley Cyrus’ (2007), ‘Breakout’ (2008), ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ (2010), ‘Bangerz’ (2013), ‘Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz’ (2015), and ‘Younger Now’ (2017).
Miley grew up on the family farm, near Nashville, Tennessee, with two siblings and three half-siblings. In 2008, she stirred up controversy by posing for revealing shots taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, which appeared in Vanity Fair magazine.
Miley dated Australian actor Liam Hemsworth. Later, the two got engaged before breaking off their engagement in 2013. They reconciled and were later married on December 23, 2018.
In August 2019, Miley Cyrus and Hemsworth had separated.
